小説家として歩み始めて、気がつけばもう４ヶ月。これからも小説やエッセイをたくさん書いていきたいと思っています。
不思議なことに、今までの人生で一番好きだと感じたことが「小説を書くこと」でした。
──遅すぎるでしょうか？
翻訳を通じて多言語出版を始めたのは、ちょうど３ヶ月前のこと。
人生は本当に予想できないものですね。2023年12月にこのワードプレスを立ち上げたときには、こんな未来が待っているとは夢にも思いませんでした。
それなのに、作品を書いては翻訳し、また書いては出版し……その繰り返しのうちに、ここまで来ることができました。
ワードプレスを始めていてよかった。そして、歩みを止めずに続けてきた自分に感謝しています。
たとえ先が見えなくても、ゆっくりと進んでいけば少しずつ景色は開けていく。
暗闇の中でも、やがて目が慣れて輪郭が見えてくるように。
人生もきっと同じなのだと思います。
昨日より今日。今日より明日。
